Hoping for snow

Even though this years snowmobile season has ended, I am already looking forward to the next one. After much bargaining and compromise with the wife, I was able to order a 2007 Polaris 600 H.O. with a 155" track.

I only started snowmobiling 5 years ago, but I feel that I'm at a level now where I can handle the extra power. Theres nothing like stomping on the gas of a powerful sled and zipping down the trails at 80MPH (conservatively).

Here's a pic of my new baby, can't wait till it arrives.

Just need to make sure I don't do this again! The result of hitting a tree while sidehilling at 25mph. It's amazing what the body in motion does when the transport mechanism stops instantly. I think I got a score of 9.5 from my friends for the front flip through the windshield onto my buttocks 10 feet away.

Pig Semen has no negative side-effects

Having 5 (soon to be 6) kids is a real blessing, but really hits the pocketbook hard. Take food for instance, my monthly grocery bill is over $1000.

My wifes due date for our 6th child is today, Valentines Day, and we were thinking about using the good 'ol castor oil treatment to induce labor. My wife has a history of going a week or so past her due date, and with the Daytona 500 weekend coming up... well let's just say the last time I didn't watch the 500, Dale Earnhardt died.

WHAT? I'm a die hard race fan!

Anyways, I went online to research the safety of using castor oil to induce labor and ran across this article. It discusses the pros and cons of inducing labor, then goes on to describe what hospitals use to induce labor. PIG SEMEN of all things nasty in this world.

Considering we've had two of our children induced, I'm happy to report there are no side effects of this practice. Want proof?

ALL MY CHILDREN ARE PIGS
.

The Big Tease

So my 30" Apple Cinema Display arrived today and it is pretty awesome to look at. The problem is, thats all I can do with it. I have a Dell Inspiron 9200 laptop that has an ATI Modility Radeon 9700 in it, but it isn't able to power it at full resolution. It can only light it up at 1280x800. How disappointing. Even my laptops screen is 1440. So I guess I will have to wait until beginning of March for the MacBook Pro to arrive before I can really enjoy the display. What a bummer. On the flip side, I found out our FredEx guy has a pretty good sense of humor. When he delivered it to my door he says: "You have a towel? Might need to wipe it off a little. I've been drooling over it all day."

Defining Success

How will I know when I'm successful at building my own private empire? Most would consider it when my kids are all successful in life and they then add on to the "family". Well, in my case, I think is when I'm number 1 in Google for those words. Already I'm in 6th spot and I only mentioned it once. Once, I reach top 2 I will know I was successful in building my own private empire. And as soon as my next daughter shows up in a week or two, I should be able to creep up a spot or two. Life is grand ain't it.

6 short of a dozen

I bet you're here wondering what my blog title means. Probably not, but I assume if you are here, something caught your attention because it certainly couldn't be my poorly written tutorials. Anyways, the long and short of it is that in 3 weeks, I will be having my 6th child, and YES I know what causes that, obviously I like it a lot. At some point in the future when I have more time to write, I'll reveal more about my family, but for now suffice it to say that I am building my own private empire.
